the Royal ride.
Born in Borau - the village of Joseph Habierre, the very first Spaniard to enter the Tour de France en isolé in 1909 and our founder - La Isolé celebrates effort, solidarity, and the Pyrenean cycling culture. Royal Asport Cycleworks is proud to co-sponsor this raw and human event.

Beyond the sporting challenge, La Isolé is defined by its spirit: an immersion in Pyrenean cycling culture, with exhibitions of vintage and historic bicycles, period equipment, and an atmosphere that transforms Borau into a true epicentre of cycling adventure.
Two days. Three valleys. One philosophy. Local gastronomy, post-ride beer bar, and the warmth of a village event built entirely on passion.

of La Pierre St-Martin.
Cycling evolves. The roads remain.
From the Béarn and Navarra valleys, seven different ascents lead to La Pierre Saint‑Martin. Seven ways to approach the mountain. Seven possible stories. One destination.
The territory
Each side of the mountain has its own personality, each valley tells a different story. The challenge offers a complete reading of the massif.
The challenge
Climb seven roads leading to the same summit, at your rhythm. Plus eighteen other passes in the meantime.
The pace
In one single day or in seven, a performance quest or a personal journey, you set the tempo and choose your own pace .
Climbing the 7 roads to la Pierre Saint-Martin pass in a single ride is truly ultra cycling. Starting and finishing in Tardets-Sorholus, the complete route covers approximately 600 km and 16.000 meters of elevation gain - the equivalent of climbing Everest twice.
The Ultra is not a race. It is a journey through the valleys of Béarn, Aragon and Navarra, and the high mountains that connect them.
A challenge of endurance, pacing, navigation and commitment.
The 7 Climbs Challenge can be attempted between April 1st and October 31th, subject to roads and passes openings, weather conditions and any safety restrictions that may be in force.

The 7 Climbs of La Pierre St-Martin was inspired by
Alain Miramon, the creator and organizer of the
“La Pierre-Jacques en Barétous” sportive.

The Pirenea
Heptathlon Raid.
Seven disciplines. One mountain range. One journey.
The Pirenea Heptathlon Raid is a multi-day team adventure currently under development across the Western Pyrenees.
The concept
The Pirenea Heptathlon Raid is a multi-day cycling adventure linking host cities where challenges take place. Teams travel freely between host cities, choosing their own routes and overnight arrangements.
The challenges
Seven challenges test different qualities of the cyclists: time trial, sprint, cyclocross, mountain biking, hill climbing, skills & balance, and track cycling. One challenge per host city.
The teams
The Raid is built around mixed teams combining women and men. The goal is to perform collectively throughout the entire journey. Teamwork, strategy, navigation are as important as athletic ability.
The bicycles
Road, gravel, mountain bikes and cargo bikes compete in separate categories. Each category faces the same disciplines and route. The diversity of bikes reflects the ways people experience cycling today.
The 2027 route will connect 5 host cities in a loop:
Bayonne > San Sebastián > Pamplona > Jaca > Oloron Sainte-Marie > Bayonne.
The Pirenea Heptathlon Raid uses an inverted points system. Each discipline awards points according to ranking. At the end of the Raid,
the team with the lowest total score wins.
Consistency, versatility, teamwork, navigation, technical skill, and decision-making matter more than outright speed.
More than a race, the Pirenea Heptathlon Raid is designed as a human-powered loop through the Western Pyrenees, connecting cities, disciplines, riders, and cultures.
Partners, volunteers, local authorities, and pioneering participants are welcome to join the project at its earliest stage.
The Pirenea Heptathlon Raid and the Cycling Raid format are a creation by Marc, owner and builder of Royal Asport Cycleworks.
